Local Football Player
Division 2 Players of the week are recognized by the Oxford Insurance Agency on a weekly basis in conjunction with the radio station AM 940 WGFP of Webster, Massachusetts during the high school football season.
The Oxford Insurance Agency is the lead sponsor for WGFP and high school sports in South County Massachusetts. The Division 2 high schools that represent South County are Bartlett Junior Senior High School - Bay Path Regional Vocational High School - Oxford High School - Shepherd Hill Regional High School, and Southbridge High School
Student –Athletes from these schools are chosen by the WGFP game announcers at the end of each football game that is aired over the radio on WGFP. The Oxford Insurance Agency and WGFP are aware of and respect the mission and code set forth by the MIAA which is the governing body of Massachusetts High School Athletics.
